Another Great Semester

I always feel rather sad on the last day of class! I am going to miss your bright and shiny faces! I hope to see you in another class or around campus. Check out the Goodreads app. It is very interesting. You can spend all day browsing the books. And you get a real sense of accomplishment when you see the list of books you have read. I will try to post things on here every now and then so check it out when you have time!

Check out the new widget on the side bar! Goodreads is the social media site I briefly mentioned in class the other day. It is a great place for learning about what books are out there and which ones might be appropriate for you. It is also a nice way of keeping a list of what you have read. I will try to keep a list of books I think might be right for you guys. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Technology in the Classroom

A nice power point layout is basically yesterday's neat handwriting. It is not really an academic subject. It just makes it easier to convey your ideas to the intended audience.

Noise

The TV on in the other room is driving me batty.

As my mother used to say, "Turn that idiot box off!"

There is a special place of hatred in my heart for the voices Japanese TV uses for "foreigners". Ugh, must turn off now.
